Collection: SLIME BUNDLES

FAQs

Which slime is best for me?

We have classified all our slimes as Beginner, Intermediate and Expert levels. For those new to slime, we recommend beginning with the Beginner level and working your way up to Expert.

Beginner - These slimes are going to be the ones that are easier to play with as they are almost non-sticky and easy to handle, especially if you have never played with slime before.

Intermediate - These slimes are better suited for someone who has played with slime before and tend to have a slightly stickier texture when played with, compared to beginner level slimes.

Expert - These slimes are recommended for people who consider themselves a slime pro! This is due to the fact that they are much more stickier to your hands if you are not quick with your movements.

How do I fix sticky slime?

Slime can become sticky in warm weather, heat during transit or simply breaks down over time. We recommend storing it in a cool place.

We include a Slime Care Card and Activator powder with every order. Follow the directions on the card to create a solution that can help restore the slime to its desired texture.

You should progressively add a few drops of the activator mix to your slime and knead it into your slime until you reach your desired consistency. Don't add too much activator at once as you can over-activate your slime and cause it to become too stiff.

Remeber to store excess activator solution in a marked container for future use.

Note: Do not use activator mixture unless your slime has become too sticky to handle comfortably or returned to a glue-like consistency. Cloud / Icee Slimes generally DO NOT need activating but can be used if you want a firmer stretch. This may alter your slime texture.

My slime has become stiff, how do I fix this?

Over time slime can become stiff and hard as a result of cooler weather conditions. There are a few ways to fix this depending on the slime type:

Clear slimes:
Leave your slime in an airtight container and place it in a warm place for a few days. This will allow the slime to soften.

Opaque slimes: Simply add a small amount of gylycerin (from our Slime Care Kit) or unscented lotion to the slime and knead until the slime softens and you reach your desired consistency.

Note: Do not use activator mixture unless your slime has become too sticky to handle comfortably or returned to a glue-like consistency. Cloud / Icee Slimes generally DO NOT need activating but can be used if you want a firmer stretch. This may alter your slime texture.

What is the Borax Slime Activator kit and how does it work?

Borax slime activator is included in your order. Once the powder is combined with water (as per the instructions), it will create a diluted borax solution.

You should progressively add a few drops of the activator mix to your slime and knead it into your slime until you reach your desired consistency. Don't add too much activator at once as you can over-activate your slime.

If you run out of solution, you can always purchase one of our Slime Care Kits.

Note: always use gloves when handling borax. Borax repeated or prolongued excessive exposure with skin can result in irritation.

Do not use activator mixture unless your slime has become too sticky to handle comfortably or returned to a glue-like consistency. Cloud / Icee Slimes generally DO NOT need activating but can be used if you want a firmer stretch. This may alter your slime texture.
